Can too much detergent cause washer problems?
Yes. Excess suds can interfere with level sensing, draining, spinning, rinsing, and door sealing. Use the detergent type and amount specified for the washer and local water conditions.
Should I repair a washer with loud bearings?
The answer depends on tub design, parts configuration, age, corrosion, and overall condition. Bearing work can be extensive, so diagnosis should be followed by a repair-versus-replace estimate.
What should I do when the washer door stays locked?
Do not force the door. Allow the safety delay, check whether water remains in the tub, and use only the model's documented emergency procedure. A drain or lock diagnosis may be needed.
